Football, I love it! I especially love two things about football. First, is fantasy football. It is almost like playing the stock market (something I also like to do, but don't have the money for). This year I am in one league that is what I will call half-cocked. There are probably 3-4 teams out of 16 that are really into it, and another 3-4 teams that play and the rest of the teams don't even look at it. Second, my new favorite football is UFL Nighthawk football. First time I've ever purchased season tickets to anything, and I am glad I did. It is a bunch of wannabe, washed up or never had been players that just love football. They are professional, so I still cannot hold a candle to their abilities, and at any rate, it is great to have a them here in Omaha.
Speaking of Omaha, I love this city. It is the biggest little city I've ever lived in. It is the kind of place where you know everyone but know no one, the kind of place where you can find something to do, but have nothing to do, the kind of place that has a 45 minute rush hour.
Rush hour... that is a random topic... a friend of mine just had to take a defensive driving class for speeding in a mini van (that's random)...but here is the serious part... and at this point everyone knows about this... TEXTING while driving is just as bad as drinking and driving, but it is funny how often one can see people texting during their 15 minutes of the 45 minute rush hour in Omaha. I see a lot more people talking on their cell phones. I wonder if life insurance will cover those folks who die because of texting and driving? I think maybe life insurance companies should ask people if they text and drive because there are sure a heck of a lot of people texting and driving now days.
Wow, life insurance made it into this fairly random blog... does anyone know anything about life insurance? Do you know the difference between "term" and "variable" life? I do... and I don't sell it, so if you want to know just ask... or I might get too random, not just fairly random!
